Super King Markets (will open their fourth location in Claremont at 436 Auto Center Drive, just west of Indian Hill next to Claremont Toyota. The Claremont location will be added to their locations in Anaheim, Los Angeles, and Altadena. Super King opened 10 years ago in Anaheim, and their mission is ”to serve the food needs of the people of metropolitan Southern California.”

Super King Claremont Under Construction

Grand Opening February 23, 2011

The Fresh & Easy in San Dimas is now open despite rain delays, and despite Fresh & Easy’s tendency to build stores without opening them. The ribbon cutting ceremony, scheduled for 10:00 am, was done by the time I got there at 10:05. With no urgent need to buy anything, I decided against doing an interior inspection. From the looks of things, it looks like the community is going to embrace this store.

The property was developed by New Cities from Monterey, California, with local La Verne construction company WF Construction acting as the general contractor.
