The Walmart Neighborhood Center at 2408 Lincoln Avenue in Altadena will be closing as part of Walmart’s plan to close underperforming stores. The store will close January 28th.
The 29,070 square foot building was renovated by Walmart in 2012 which included the construction of a new roof. The property was available for sale in 2014 for $7.8 million at a 4.75% cap rate, but did not sell. There were approximately 8 years remaining on a ten year lease two years ago.
The store originally opened March 1, 2013 (see my write up here).
